Microsamples
The samples listed on this page are all invertebrate rich and represent Holocene and recent material. Each
represents a different marine fauna and is usually rich in either ostracods, foraminifera or both. All come with full
geological data. In most cases the first image is of the sample spread out on a 2 x 2 inch sorting tray. The
enlargements show the richness of each sample. Great comparative material for our older samples. The
measurement given after certain samples (e.g. 1 metre) refers to the depth of water from which they were collected.
